"All Rise" addresses the patriarchal tradition that allows three males to pass judgment in the Jewish Court but forbids women to judge. The piece alludes to one solution for the plight of the Agunah: The Agunah (translated “chained woman”) cannot get a divorce if her husband denies it to her. If there were three women judges, the Agunah might have more of a chance to be heard.
